1. What is your favorite historical time period?
Aw, damn. Uh, it used to be the French Revolution, but then came the Medieval, and then the Renaissance…. Er…. I'll just say Renaissance for now.
2. Who is your favorite historical figure?
Really!? Too. Many. To. Choose. I'd say right this second Sigismondo Malatesta, the awesome Renaissance dude who had the unique distinction of the pope declaring him "canonized to hell".
3. What type of music do you like best?
Again: Difficult, difficult! Folk punk. Or punk. Or heavy metal. Or baroque opera. Or glam. If there were a band that could successfully combine all of these, I'd be in heaven.
4. What are your hobbies?
Reading, drawing, printmaking, writing a bit.
5. If you could go anywhere at any time in history, where and when would you go?
Lots of places to go, lots of things to see. But I would want to be in a place with not too much strife (don't want to die on first visit). So…Haarlem or Amsterdam of the mid seventeenth century.
6. If you could meet anyone, who would you like to meet?
Vincent van Gogh, hands down.
7. What is something you would like to learn to do?
Ride a motorcycle!
8. What is one goal you have for the future?
Actually finishing the comic book and other assorted illustrations I have in progress.
9. If you could transform into any animal, what would you choose?
A jewel-encrusted tortoise that survives. Just because.
10. What is your favorite book?
Les Misérables.
